How many sessions will I need?

​

Each person has a unique life story, different needs and goals and therefore it is very difficult to pre-empt how long the therapy journey will be. Some people only require a few session in order to meet their goals and outcomes, others come longer term to deal with more complex issues.

 

I encourage people to commit to at least 6 sessions to give the process of treatment an opportunity to develop. 

 

How much is a therapy session?

Individual counselling: $160 per session

Couples/family counselling: $160 per session

​

A therapy session goes approximately 50 min to an hour. 

You do not need a GP/doctor referral to access my services. Some private health fund rebates may apply.

When are appointments available?

​

Appointments are available during and after business hours from Monday to Friday, hours differing each day. Please contact me via Email, text message or phone to find out my current availability.

How can I pay for a session?

​

I accept payment by cash, debit and credit card or by bank transfer. If you are paying by bank transfer I will provide you with the bank details. Bank transfer payments are to reach my account 24 hours prior to our scheduled session.

Do you offer any rebates?

​

Medicare:

There is no Medicare rebates available for my services.

Private Health Fund Insurance:

I have a provider number for the following health funds:

Please check with your private health fund whether some of my fee is covered under your insurance policy.

Some people may be able to have my fees tax deductible - please check with your tax agent or the ATO.

Is there a cancellation policy?

​

Yes.

 

Your session has been reserved especially for you. I respect your time and I ask that you kindly respect mine.

​

Please contact me as soon as possible to re-schedule if you are unable to attend your session.

A cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee will be charged if you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice.  A cancellation of 100% of the session fee will be charged if you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend a scheduled appointment.
